Ayurveda Self Care Support Group for YOU!

Ayurveda self care goes to the heart. It is the framework upon which you can build a life in tune with Nature. Going to the root – it’s radical – and worthy of a support group . Changing your self care routine can change so much in your life. And Ayurveda offers healthy routines for eating, sleeping, exercising, meditating, and more. And I’m starting a free support group to help you get started.

What is your self care routine? Is it routine, locked into a list you automatically check off in your brain every day? How to make new self care part of your life is key.

Once automatic you don’t need willpower!

Getting to automatic is where social support comes in. It’s essential to have a special buddy and or a support group you can be accountable to and get help from in sticking to your routine. For that reason, I’m starting a free on-line Ayurveda self care support group.

Cleanse & Rejuvenate with Ayurveda

This 24 minute video introduces the processes of Ayurveda that can cleanse and rejuvenate.While there are many kinds of cleanses, Ayurveda emphasizes that

  1. cleanses should be individualized to best support the person
  2. only cleansing strips the person down rather than building – rejuvenation is an essential step to the process, which again needs to be individualized according to the state of the person after the cleanse
  3. cleansing and rejuvenating is often needed to “reset”  the body into a new phase of health
  4. cleansing and rejuvenating allows the body to receive other therapies with greater efficacy

There are many levels of cleansing and rejuvenating available-

  • cleansing foods
  • simple kichari diets
  • cleansing herbs
  • pancha karma – a deeper and more complex process.

Cleansing and rejuvenating can be important in supporting healthy menses, fertility, and menopause.

Women have so many female cycles within their “period” – many not really known to them. We have menstrual, ovarian, hormonal, uterine movement, fertile fluid, and temperature cycles and their components.  All of them interact to create the menstrual-fertility cycle. To have healthy periods and fertility you need all of these cycles to be working well. When some are off, they are symptoms that give us information about where we need to bring balance.
